Grace and Truth: Talking About Sensitive Topics in Church

I believe it's important for us to talk about in church the things we think we're not supposed to talk about in church,... but we must do so in a way that embodies both the full truth of Jesus and the full grace of Jesus. This is an not easy task.

You must remember that as followers of Jesus, we are called to embody both the full truth and full grace. Jesus Himself was the perfect example of this, as He was full of both grace and truth.

When we talk about sensitive topics in church, it's important to approach them with an open mind and a willingness to listen to different perspectives. We must remember that we are all part of the same flock, and we are called to love and support one another, even when we disagree on certain issues.

At the same time, we cannot shy away from the truth of God. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and it is only through Him that we can have a relationship with God. We must seek to understand and live in accordance with that truth.

We must also extend grace and mercy to those around us, just as Jesus did. He welcomed all who came to Him, regardless of their past or present circumstances. He showed compassion and mercy to those who were hurting, and He offered forgiveness to those who had sinned.

So let us strive to be like Jesus, embodying both the full truth of God and the full grace of God in our lives. Let us approach sensitive topics with an open mind and a willingness to listen, while also seeking to understand and live in accordance with the truth of God. And may we always remember that it is through Him that we have access to both grace and truth.
