Get Your Church on Google's Good Side!
Dear Church Leaders,
I hope this message finds you in good spirits and ready to take on the digital world! Let me tell you, Google is like the popular kid in school - everyone wants to be noticed by them. And your church is no exception! The church needs to be where the people are and from what I can see is that people are online searching for hope, promise, purpose and real meaning.
I know what you're thinking, "Technology isn't exactly our thing." No worries, I've got you covered. Google reviews are easy-peasy! All you need to do is encourage your church members to share their love for your church on Google. Every time you search google is your internet switchboard. The more positive chatter the more likely Google is to recommend you. Here is how to make it happen. Leaving a Google review is a quick and easy process that anyone can do. Here are the steps to leaving a review for your church:
Go to Google Maps: Go to maps.google.com and search for your church by name.
Find Your Church: Once you've located your church on the map, click on the listing to open its page.
Click on "Write a Review": On the right-hand side of the page, you'll see a section labeled "Reviews." Click on the button that says "Write a review."
Sign In: You'll need to sign in to your Google account in order to leave a review. If you don't have a Google account, you can easily create one by clicking on the "Sign up" button.
Rate Your Experience: You'll be prompted to give your church a rating, using a scale of 1 to 5 stars.
Write Your Review: Write a few sentences about your experience at your church. Be honest, but also kind and constructive.
Publish: Once you're happy with your review, click on the "Publish" button to post it to the web.
And that's it! Your review will now be visible to others who search for your church on Google. You can feel proud knowing that you're helping others discover the warmth and joy of your spiritual community.
Think of it like this - every time a member leaves a review, it's like giving your church a big old hug. And who doesn't love hugs? Google will notice all the love and, before you know it, your church will be at the top of the search list for anyone looking for a new spiritual home.
And, to sweeten the deal, you can even offer a prize to members who leave a review. We're talking about the chance to win a $25 gift card, folks! Who wouldn't want that?
So, let's get your church on Google's good side and start collecting those warm and fuzzy reviews!
Blessings,
Pastor Mike
